Speed paints of Ivan Shishkin paintings. And I thought the Miyazaki ones were cruel…I just now realized I had cut off a chunk of the bear painting while working, hence some missing trees. Ah well.
More tree sketches. Maybe I'm making excuses for myself, but I feel like being left handed kinda messes me up when I draw in my sketchbook. I always start at the farthest edge on the right, hence the first couple trees kinda being cut off.
Trees sketched from observation and colored at home from notes/memory. I had to take screengrabs of these because saving it as a jpeg resulted in very wonky looking colors. Not sure why!
